</div>Direct all student work at the Osceola Performing Arts Center, our 2000 seat proscenium venue.  Teach all courses in a unique high school major - Technical Theatre.  Hands-on experience is the major component of all technical course work.

    Courses Include:   Stagecraft, Technical Theatre, Lighting, Design and Drafting, Advanced Carpentry and Structural Engineering, Scene Painting and Properties Construction, TV and Video Production


FACULTY TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, Univ. of Florida, Gainesville, Fl. <div align="right">Aug. '96 to 2001</div>

The Department of Theatre & Dance produces 6 mainstage shows and 4 black box shows, plus a 4 -show summer season. Shows are mounted on two different mainstages and two black boxes around campus.

    Educational Responsibilities:

·       Teach "Stagecraft", "Advanced Stagecraft" and "Drafting for the Stage".

·       Primary coordinator for "Production and Performance"- our student labor work force.

·       Evaluate portfolios and resumes of Production area BFA and MFA students.

·       Mentor student designers to realize their first designs.

·       Advise tech students about independent and student sponsored productions.

 
 TECHNICAL PRODUCTION MANAGER, University of Miami,  Fl.  Aug. '01 to May '02.

The Ring Theatre at the University of Miami is a flexible seating performance space where the Department of Theatre Arts produces 4 to 5 mainstage performances a year.

  

Educational Responsibilities:

·       Teach "Auto CAD for the Stage", "Introduction to Theatre Crafts" and "Properties".

·       Supervise Technical Staff and work study students.

·       Coordinate the lab component of Intro to Theatre Crafts, which provides all running crews as well as costume, lighting, and scenery shop crews.

·        Evaluate portfolios and resumes of all tech and design majors. 

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, Riverside Theatre, Vero Beach, Fl. Sept. '89 to June '96

Riverside, a 600 seat proscenium house (LOA/ LORT) produces five to six mainstage shows, and four second stage shows from September through May.
