The Hobbit

	The Hobbit was an interesting show.  A childrens show with dwarves and dragons.
The scenery had to depict realistic exteriors and figurative mountains in distance.
	The dragon Smaug was a giant puppet with 4 people operating it.  Two for the wings, one person controling the head and mouth, and one operating the fibre optic lights and eyes.
Most of the cast was dwarves or hobbits, so the humans were on stilts to create the height difference.
	All the dwarves had facial tattoos and Thorin needed a shaved head for full head tattoos.
